Where we are
The Cascina Praié winery is located in the municipality of Andora (province of Savona), a stone’s throw from the medieval hamlet of Colla Micheri, which became famous when the Norwegian ethnologist and navigator Thor Heyerdahl, known worldwide for his Kon-Tiki expeditions, decided to make it his home.
The winery is set above the Colla Micheri hill and overlooks four hectares of terraced estate, most of which is vineyard but there are also olive groves. The tasting room is open to visitors in small groups.
CASCINA PRAIÉ is about 3km from the Andora exit of the A10 motorway (towards Ventimiglia) and is easy to find if you follow the yellow signposting for the medieval hamlet of Colla Micheri.
An alternative route is via Laigueglia (following indications for Colla Micheri) but while the road is shorter, it is steeper and very winding.
